Web Development

I would be glad to talk to you about what you need out of a website or Intranet and how best to go about achieving those goals.

Please note that I am principally working as a partner in DesignTechWeb at this time. Please check over at www.DesignTechWeb.com for the latest information – including blog posts and technical advice. Thanks.

Websites can range from simple brochure type pages to full database driven interactive sites with forums, feedback and/or point-of-sale. Basically, anything is possible!

When choosing a provider and setting up your site, make sure that maintenance will be easy and under your control. The last thing you want to have is an out-of-date site that requires professional intervention to maintain. The site should also be optimized for indexing by search engines. This will insure your audience can actually find your site among all the millions out there.

You may want to read this post on things to consider before building a website.

NOTE! And if you are looking for hosting, I recommend DreamHost. Check out this article to find out why and to receive a 50% discount on your first year’s hosting fees.
